So finally after almost 8 years, I am going to spend the holidays with my family back home. I can't really wait to leave (even though the flight takes close to 24 hrs) and be with my close ones.
These last months have been really rough. All the GMAT studying, the MBA school applications, and just recently, the unfortunate event of my grand pa's passing away, have left me so tired and just looking forward to leaving and having a well deserved vacation.
I have also been very anxious lately waiting for Chicago's decision. I really want to go there and I pray everyday for this to happen. The Booth school of business is my 1st choice and I can't wait till I hear the good news!!! But now I am just thinking of going back to my beautiful city, spending time with my Mother, who is turning 50, and partying with my old and good friends. I also want to play some tennis again; it has been almost 2 years since the last time I played some competitive game, and my brother is really starting to kick some butt!! I actually think he is going to be way better than I was, but I can't really tell him this because he will get too cocky :) I am going to play against him and I will let you all know how it goes. Hopefully, I will not get massacred.
Alright, gotta go back to work but I will keep you posted once I hear anything. I am really looking forward to this blog!!!!

So why did I do it? I could offer a million answers, all false. The truth is that I'm a bad person, but that's going to change, I'm going to change. This is the last of this sort of thing. I'm cleaning up and I'm moving on, going straight and choosing life. I'm looking forward to it already. I'm going to be just like you: the job, the family, the big television, the washing machine, the car, the compact disc and tin opener, clearing the gutters, getting by, looking ahead, to the day you die.
